The project is located along the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal. It consists of environmental monitoring stations which will constitute a habitat for species and collect data from the ecosystem so that humans can learn and understand the impact of human activities. The idea is that every station can host vulnerable species, from insects to birds or mammals, and eventually lead to an increase of population.
The aim for the upcoming term will be to explore different design approaches to make architecture less human-focused and more nature-oriented, as well as thinking of strategies to create a network that can work and be replicated on an urban scale.
